Storyline

When Hollywood said NO, she said YES and guerrilla filmmaker Migdia Chinea, with her whatever-it-takes attitude, took on the arduous task of making the poignant period piece WHEN IT RAINS. Two years in the making, Migdia set the stage to carve out a piece of iconic Los Angeles post sexual revolution history. Her neo noir film revolves around actress/photographer Miranda Maar, her lovers, her friends, and their aspirations during two weeks of the worst rain storm in Hollywood 1972.
